The latest press from the Tahoe Weekly was published on June 1, 2016. Read Telling Her Father's Story.  Thanks to reporter Tim Hauserman for this story about stories!

A month before release date, an old patient of my dad's from his dental practice in Masschusetts posted one of my short stories on our hometown's facebook page. Back in 2006, the story, A Lucky Man, was a finalist in a contest for The Preservation Foundation and eventually morphed into my novel. The post generated a stream of memories and praise from my dad's patients from more than 25 years ago--he retired in 1990. Click to view: "I grew up in Northboro, Massachusetts."

I'm delighted to have my book reviewed and promoted in Vermont Quarterly, my favorite university magazine published by my alma mater, The University of Vermont. Click to read the article, Family Heirloom.

Read the article, Truckee woman'sdebut novel based on father's true story of winning the lottery  from the The Sierra Sun, Tahoe's regional paper, that ran on November 20. My gratitude goes out to reporter Jenny Goldsmith for writing such a engaging piece! Another good read is the article I wrote for my local Independent Newspaper, Moonshine Ink called Sharing Luck.
